LEGENDARY PUNK ROCKER DUNCAN ‘KID’ REID WITH WHITE-HOT NEW BAND THE BIG HEADS CONTINUES HIS PUSH TO BE PURPLE WITH APRIL NORWAY TOUR
There are only two people in the entire world who can claim to have played with the Ramones while not actually being tagged with the ‘Ramone’ nom-de-plume. Duncan ‘Kid’ Reid is one of those people.
As singer and bass player of Joey Ramone’s favourite band, The Boys, Duncan rode on the crest of a wave during punk’s original late-1970s heyday as part of a wider collective of friends and peers that included Sex Pistols, The Clash, Generation X and a host of other power-chord pioneers. The Boys remain one of the best-loved and influential bands of their generation.
Fast forward to 2016 and Duncan’s new group The Big Heads, are powering their way around the globe and astounding audiences from Buenos Aires to Berlin to Dublin and back again. Montevideo, from the Big Heads’ debut album Little Big Head, has earned Duncan the keys to the Uruguayan capital (the only other musicians to achieve this being Elton John and Paul McCartney). The band has been joined onstage by members of Europe, German mega group Die Toten Hosen and TV Smith of The Adverts.
Following a cornucopia of stellar reviews for 1st album Little Big Head, The Big Heads developed their unique, effortlessly entertaining, melodic brand of harmony laden pop punk with: “The Difficult Second Album”.

Hard Luck Street debuterte i 2011 med 7-tommeren Valley Of Fear. Singelen var innspilt og mikset ved Urban Sound studio, og produsert av Jock Loveband som tidligere har jobbet med artister som The Stranglers, David Gilmour and Madrugada.
Samme år spilte Hard Luck Street en lang rekke egne konserter, festivaler og oppvarmingsjobber for de britiske punk-legendene The Boys (U.K.) og The Jim Jones Revue (U.K.).
I desember 2011 slapp de oppfølgeren On The Run To Maybeland på 10tommer vinyl. Denne var innspilt ved Laidback Studios.
I 2012 turnerte de flittig med spillejobber i England og Norge. Blant annet dro de på en miniturne med The Boys (U.K.).
I februar 2013 dro Hard Luck Street på turné i Tyskland. Sommeren samme år begynte de å arbeide med sitt debut album, noe som skulle vise seg å bli en lang kronglete prosess, som blant annet medførte en god del utskiftninger i besetningen.
1 august 2015 kom albumet Mosaics – Exile on Hard Luck Street
Hard Luck Street er nå i full gang med å promotere albumet. De spilte på Gamla på fjorårets Klubbdag i forkant av Øyafestivalen, og en rekke konserter i Norge og Sverige. I forbindelse med at Mosaics – Exile on Hard
Luck Street nå slippes på vinyl jobbes det med turne både i Norge og Europa forøvrig.
